Jianbing is famous street food in China. It doesn't belong to any regular culinary department. It can be mastered without too much cooking training, but its taste is very good. It takes only three minutes to make and is cheap. The price is around 5 RMB, equivalent to 0.6 pounds. My hometown is in Tianjin, which is one of the birthplaces of Chinese pancakes. I have enjoyed this convenient and cheap food as breakfast every day since childhood. I am very familiar with Chinese pancakes.
In my opinion, it's very similar to our country, where a considerable number of beans are gathered together. No one cares whether any of them is full or not. They are all ground and smashed one by one. They are made into a set of simple, cheap and very practical products.

Background

Two years after graduation, I find that in today's Chinese society, friends and parents are inclined to find a stable way of life, and they are very afraid of freelance and unstable income. On the other hand, facing the huge population base of our country, our screening mechanism is often simple and rough. For example, our college entrance examination is almost a "once-in-a-lifetime exam system", and China's national civil service exam also adopts the way of ranking by written test scores.
All of these prompted me to think about the screening mechanism of our "single standard" in the face of China's huge population base.
